So about a week ago I looked on Ticketmaster for seats for the 2nd Excel show, I did a search by "best seats available" and it came up with about two-thirds of the way up the 2nd deck way back opposite side of the stage. Thursday night, I did the same search and it came up with 5th row, right behind the hockey benches. Obviously, I jumped on those and bought them. But, what the hell is that all about? One day the best available is in the nosebleeds, another day I'm 5th row behind the bench.

Thats crazy. I wish I would've known that you were looking for tickets to that show. Macphisto and I have two tickets available for that night! 4th row upper deck. Stage right. One section from side stage. Should be excellent seats.

Yeah your tickets should be pretty good. You didn't get fan club tickets? I have fan club tix for the first night, but I wasn't sure about going the 2nd night, now that the decision had been made to go to both, I missed the deadline for fan club tix for the second night.

You'll never believe this but somehow I accidently let my membership lapse the day before tickets were announced for St.Paul. I tried to renew immediately and get the tickets but by the time my order went through it was too late. I felt like a tool. I was able to get pretty sweet tickets for both shows though. I will never make that mistake again.
