I did the second list without even looking at my first list and they came out very similar. I guess I was already pretty grounded in the songs I liked at the beginning.

It's all good, but my rankings vary from day to day. WWS was probably #1 for most the summer, i got in a huge groove with that one, but now I'm tired of it again.

13. Big Wave

Thats my list. Not many changes that often. Pretty well set although they may move 1 spot or so depending on the day. Wasted Reprise is great, just falls because of the length of the tune. Last 2 songs are not good for me at all. I can listen, but would prefer a skip since so many great ones follow.

Comatose and Big Wave got ranking boosts from me after hearing/seeing live versions, Marker In the Sand took a massive dive after hearing/seeing live versions.

Wow, almost the opposite. I didnt like either comatose or Big wave any better live. Although the excell Marker was not super special, the San Fran shows catapulted the tune. It was already high on the list because of how great the lyrics are. No matter what i do Big wave is just too corny and crappy and comatose is too much Spin the black circle, another popular tune i really don't care for.

Excel was the reason for Comatose going up, that was particularily intense, and opened my eyes to that song. It is like STBC, that can be pretty boring a lot of the times, but a particulairl;y intense version makes it a completly different song. Marker was bad at Excel, but the other boots I have it wasn't very good either. Something is really missing during the outro of the live versions. Big Wave, for no particular reason, I decided I liked verse right after the IgotabigwaveIgotabigwaveIgotabigwave part, maybe it was because that part sucks so bad it made the rest of the song seem better than it really is.

Good takes, just difference of opinion. I know my boy Green Disease loves Comatose. I catch my self singing it sometimes. Its a PJ tune so of course it's quality, just not up to snuff for me.

What happened with Army reserve Van??? last?? Bad experience? I looked at the lyrics 1 time and that was it for me. Now the guitar , the way Ed presents the lyrics...OUtSTANDING!!

"how loud can silence get?"

"she tells herself..and (any/every)one else, father is risking his life for our freedoms...IIIHHHHHH, I'm not blind"

"darling you'll save me, if you save yourself" bnananananananan

My favorite parts right there. It's sooo good.

Comeback wasn't even close to the top of my list until Excell. Now it may be my favorite guitar part on the CD. The last minute or so is just stellar! It doubles as my text message song...quick send me one!! hahhaha

Wow your list is a lot like mine, with only the exception of "Gone". I love that you have "Army Reserve" at number one. Very nice indeed.

Army was #12 on my list back in May, but it's now at #6. It just took some time for it to catch on with me.
